CAN MATTHEW BLACKETT TAKE ON QUEEN'S PARK?

As the managing editor and designer of Spacing, Matthew Blackett can reasonably expect Mayor David Miller to accept invitations to his shindigs -- the mayor not only participated in the magazine's November mayoral debate, but he also showed up at the launch party of its transit-themed issue at the Gladstone Hotel, among other hobnobbers. Mr. Blackett can expect the mayor to listen when he has an opinion on street furniture. He's also a member of the mayor's City Beautiful Roundtable.
