Strong-armed thieves take two-tonne statue of poet
Police in Halton are trying to locate a bronze statue of poet Taras Shevchenko -- celebrated as the Bard of Ukraine -- that has gone missing from an Oakville park.All that the thieves left behind on the marble pedestal are the statue's feet.
