Liberals play loose with democracy
Laura Albanese was nominated last night to carry Liberal colours in a Toronto by-election this winter, which should be further reinforcement of Ontario's glorious democratic tradition. But this is the Ontario Liberal Party we're talking about and it has a quirky view of democratic process, so it might be unwise to shout hosanna too loudly.
