In December, Jhayne Holmes raised $48,000 in just three days. Now, all she needs is a million dollars -- or at least half a mil -- by mid-January. The goal of the frantic fundraising? To save a former Bollywood theatre on the dodgy north end of Commercial Drive from possible demolition and then turn it into Heart of the World, Vancouver's newest performance venue.
