Convention targets recycling revolution

The meetings-and-conventions industry is associated with pristine presentation, from bone-dry coffee islands to tidy finger sandwiches. But after the conventions are over, those plastic plates and foam cups amount to a massive pile of waste, much of which goes to landfill.
