Host Whitehorse earns praise as Games close

WHITEHORSE -- With Yukon and the Canada Winter Games parting ways, the focus for both now shifts to their respective futures.The 16-day Games ended on Saturday with a closing ceremony that served as a final emotional homage to the North. As thousands of athletes and coaches returned to their respective home provinces, Whitehorse was left glowing with pride as the host city for one of the most successful Games ever.
