Government afraid of an Airbus inquiry, Schreiber charges

The Conservative federal government has abandoned its efforts to launch an inquiry into the Airbus affair because it's afraid of what such an inquiry might unearth, Karlheinz Schreiber, the German-Canadian businessman at the centre of the 12-year-old controversy, said yesterday.
