Can snowmobilers and caribou herds share the same terrain?

From December to April, the Interior British Columbia city of Revelstoke relies on snowmobile tourism. Hotel billboards welcome snowmobilers, trucks and trailers loaded with sleds line the streets, and almost every business in town -- mechanics, gas stations, grocery stores, bars, hotels and restaurants -- count on the dollars they bring.
