U.S. says Khadr could be held indefinitely

WASHINGTON -- Omar Khadr, the Canadian accused of murdering for al-Qaeda, could be held indefinitely at the high-security prison at Guantanamo even if he is acquitted of all charges, a senior U.S. State Department official confirmed yesterday.
