Bush calls for fall climate meetings

WASHINGTON -- U.S. President George W. Bush, eager to nudge a global-warming agenda away from where it seems headed at next week's G8 summit, called yesterday for 15 major countries to come up with a worldwide greenhouse-gas reduction target by the end of next year.
