B.C. paper wins public-service honour

The Prince George Citizen has won the prestigious Michener Award for a series of stories on the safety of logging truck drivers.The British Columbia paper had written more than 35 stories that resulted in the province hiring a forestry coroner and announcing more than $20 million to be spent on upgrading forest roads.
