CABLE COMPANIES WERE GIVEN WARNING ABOUT ABRUPT ENDING TO THE SOPRANOS

The abrupt ending of The Sopranos finale Sunday had the show's distributors concerned that fans might think their cable had gone out at a most inopportune time. It was enough of a concern that Astral Media Inc., the company that broadcasts The Sopranos through its TV subscription service, The Movie Network, warned cable companies from coast to coast that they might have a few irate customers on their hands.
