'Girl power' carries the day

On the morning of the Queen's Plate, trainer Ian Black shook the hand of 25-year-old jockey Emma-Jayne Wilson and said, "Let's make history."And so they did. Riding 15-to-1 shot Mike Fox yesterday, Wilson became the first female jockey to win the $1-million Queen's Plate in its 148-year history.
