Curb on sales of Roman candles urged
Stores should curb their sales of Roman candle fireworks because young people are using them as weapons, Councillor Adam Vaughan said yesterday.Roman candles used as hand-held mortars have become "the firework of choice of some of the young people that use them in an inappropriate way," Mr. Vaughan told a city hall news conference yesterday.
