Salmonella fear expands snack food recall

Canadian food regulators have issued a warning urging the public not to consume a snack food imported from the United States that may be contaminated with dangerous bacteria.A seasoning made with imported Chinese ingredients that was used on the food was contaminated with salmonella, a company official said on Tuesday. The snack foods sickened dozens of people in the U.S. Canadian Food Inspection Agency said it has had no confirmed cases of illnesses.
