How Telus might get back in the hunt for BCE
Darren Entwistle went four years without taking a holiday and seems to believe that no one else should have one, either. Here's what it says in the Telus family scrapbook under "How I Spent My Summer Vacations" - 2000, negotiated the Clearnet deal, the biggest in the company's history; 2002, grappled with a financial crisis; 2004, pursued a hostile bid for Microcell; 2005, endured a bitter employee strike; 2006, plotted an income trust conversion.
