Don't cover up detainee abuse

If the Department of National Defence has its way, no one will ever know whether Canada is living up to its commitments not to abuse and torture prisoners in Afghanistan and not to turn them over to abuse and torture. Rather than allow Canada to be seen to stand by its word, Defence Department censors would leave everyone in the dark. And the dark is where torture and abuse typically thrive.
