Ontario must disclose costs of legal fight with parents of autistic children
TORONTO -- The Ontario government has lost a legal battle to conceal the costs of its long-running court fight with the parents of autistic children.A three-judge panel of the divisional court of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice ruled yesterday that the government must disclose how much it spent fighting families who want the province to continue financing expensive intensive behavioural intervention (IBI) therapy after their autistic children reach age six.
