Stratford bulks up on its Shakespeare

In a move designed to signal a return to its classical roots and to mark a clear departure from Richard Monette's 14-year reign, the Stratford Festival of Canada is once again putting William Shakespeare front and centre in its name, programming and artistic culture. Starting in November, the Southern Ontario institution will be known as the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, general director Antoni Cimolino announced yesterday.
