Greens need to swing to the centre, interim leader says

VANCOUVER -- The interim leader of the Green Party of British Columbia yesterday urged the five candidates seeking the job to pull the party toward the centre."What I think the next leader has got to do is move the party to the middle on some policies and speak to moderates and disenfranchised Liberals and NDP," said Christopher Bennett, kicking off the party's first leadership race in seven years. "They've got to essentially widen the tent and they've got to appeal to more than the base."
