Young employees less driven by money: survey

Young employees are significantly less motivated by money than the previous generation, according to a new survey by Decima Research conducted for accounting firm RSM Richter LLP.Just 16 per cent of 259 Canadians under 30 said salary was the most important factor in their decision to take their first job. That compares to 25 per cent of 724 workers over 40 in the poll who said salary was their primary motivator at the start of their careers.
