Business savvy with a philosophical bent

Two years ago, a change of CEOs at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce triggered an executive overhaul - and senior vice-president Rob Paterson was among those who left. The former philosophy major headed to Hong Kong to join McKinsey & Co.'s financial services practice in Asia. Now, he's back in Toronto running Chase Card Services Canada, part of the JPMorgan Chase unit that acquired the Sears card program.
