Hail to the Master Chief: Halo 3 rakes in $170-million in one day
There's a new king of the entertainment world, and his name is Master Chief.With more than $170-million (U.S.) in sales in its first day in U.S. stores, Microsoft Corp.'s Halo 3 video game for the Xbox 360 became the biggest entertainment release in history, eclipsing the $151-million debut of Spider-Man 3 for top spot on the list, the company said in an e-mailed statement.
