A tasty design challenge

Street food comes in many forms, from lamb's quarters pushing up through a crack in the sidewalk to the city's ubiquitous hot dogs. Currently, the Toronto Board of Health is looking into ways to bring new foods - not just pre-cooked wieners - to street vending carts, after a much-publicized campaign by Councillor John Filion moved the province to change health regulations on Aug. 1.
