Neuromed drug moves ahead
VANCOUVER -- Privately-held Neuromed Pharmaceuticals Inc. has struck an agreement with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration that moves one of the company's products closer to key clinical trials and possible sale in the United States as a treatment for chronic pain - a multibillion-dollar market in which several popular products have been yanked off the market over health concerns.
