B.C. calls for stiffer penalties in wake of deaths

VANCOUVER -- B.C.'s Solicitor-General is calling for stiffer sentences for criminal offenders after the killing of six people in Surrey.John Les said that unless the federal government changes Canada's Criminal Code and gets crooks off the streets, more lives will needlessly be lost.
