New French law allows DNA testing of visa applicants

PARIS -- In keeping with President Nicolas Sarkozy's promise to break taboos, a new French immigration law approved this week introduces limited DNA testing of foreign visa applicants and permits researchers to collect racial and ethnic statistics.
