SYMPOSIUM: THE LIMITS OF KIDLIT

AT ISSUEA recent publicity hoax by the producers of the popular Lemony Snicket books had a British organization called the Happy Ending Foundation mounting a campaign against children's books that end miserably, or otherwise push the limits. But the ensuing kerfuffle does make Susan Juby wonder what form such a protest would take.
