Climate change is more than hot air and protocol

With ministers from more than 80 countries meeting in Bali this week to discuss a replacement for the Kyoto Protocol, climate change is once again a hot topic. Unfortunately, the meetings are likely to end in stalemate with Canada and others opposing the introduction of firm and binding commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, viewing them as irrelevant if not universally followed.
