Van Koeverden backs female jumpers
Another Canadian Olympic gold medalist has voiced support for women in ski jumping."If anything can ensure a high level of competition in 2014, it would their inclusion in 2010," van Koeverden said yesterday as he joined Special Olympic powerlifter Russell Gerber, a four-time gold medalist, in showing off the Olympic torch that relay runners will carry around the world before the Beijing Games.
