RCMP weigh charges after starving horses found

Charges are pending in connection with another animal welfare case in Alberta, RCMP said yesterday after they seized eight starving horses from a reserve northwest of Rocky Mountain House.Responding to a complaint on the Sunchild First Nation, police found the animals, including pregnant mares, without food and water. They also found the carcasses of six horses.
