Foreign Affairs Minister issues warning on Sudan
Ottawa -- In a meeting with Sudanese officials this week, Canada's Foreign Affairs Minister tied Canada's relationship with Sudan to the situation in Darfur.Maxime Bernier told reporters in a conference call that in a conversation with Sudanese Foreign Minister Deng Alor Kuol and presidential adviser Mustafa Osman Ismail in Khartoum earlier, he conveyed "Canada's concern about the violence and humanitarian crisis in Darfur."
