Charged in Mayerthorpe killings, man seeks bail
Edmonton -- One of the two Alberta men charged in the deaths of four RCMP officers was in court yesterday applying for bail. The judge reserved his decision. Shawn Hennessey, 28, has been in custody since July, when the married father of two was charged with four counts of first-degree murder. His co-accused, Dennis Cheeseman, 24, has not made a bail application.
