Ottawa-Ontario trade fresh attacks
TORONTO -- Tensions between Ottawa and Ontario flared up on a new front yesterday, with the Harper government accusing Premier Dalton McGuinty of running a "sponsorship-style" slush fund.The federal government launched a fresh attack on the same day Mr. McGuinty and his Finance Minister made efforts to end a highly public fight with Ottawa over their management of the Ontario economy.
