Heathrow's new terminal suffers 'teething problems'
Dozens of flights at Heathrow Airport's giant new Terminal 5 were cancelled on its opening day yesterday due to "teething problems," which also involved big problems with misplaced luggage, British Airways PLC said. Other problems at the £4.3-billion ($8.77-billion) terminal included car parking, staff security screening and general stumbling over the unfamiliar layout. British Airways, which now has its home at T5, said it had suffered "a few minor problems" during the first day of operation. BAY (LSE) rose 7 pence to £2.47.
