Limiting cancer patients' access to medical test puts Ontario under microscope

Ontario's Ombudsman is investigating the provincial government over complaints that restricted access to PET scans is unjust - and even compromising the care of cancer patients.André Marin confirmed that he has served notice on the Health Ministry, and his administrative SWAT team - unleashed seven months ago - has already garnered 2,000 pages of documents in one of the most complex investigations his office has undertaken.
