Ontario to prohibit cosmetic-use pesticides
Ontario is poised to become the second province to ban the cosmetic use of pesticides in residential areas. Quebec was the first.Premier Dalton McGuinty is expected to announce the ban, which the Liberals promised during the last election campaign, later today, in an effort to ride on the coattails of Earth Day.
