Roenick's outburst sinks Flames
SAN JOSE -- The story is by now familiar: How San Jose Sharks' general manager Doug Wilson called Jeremy Roenick last August, offering him a chance to play one more NHL season and try one final time to win the Stanley Cup. How the garrulous Roenick was a model citizen all season long, refusing to squawk even after coach Ron Wilson took him out of the Sharks' lineup for what was a listless sixth game in their Western Conference quarter-final playoff series against the Calgary Flames.
