Khadr a typical Canadian, lawyer says
OTTAWA -- Omar Khadr's U.S. military defence lawyer portrayed him yesterday to Canadian MPs in Ottawa as a typical Canadian - one who dreams of getting an education, watching Lord of the Rings and visiting the Rockies - as Mr. Khadr's case came before a parliamentary committee for the first time.
