Ottawa to reject U.S. firm's bid to buy assets, sources say
VANCOUVER, OTTAWA -- Stephen Harper's Conservative government was set to confirm that it will reject the $1.3-billion takeover of the iconic space divisions of MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates Ltd., by American weapons and space firm Alliant Techsystems Inc., sources said last night.
