New law puts green screen on government decisions

OTTAWA -- Senior public servants will lose bonus money if they fail to meet environment targets under a law that received Royal Assent earlier this month.Whether the Finance Department is launching a new tax or the Transport Minister is planning new aviation rules, every government decision must include an outline of how the environment will be affected.
