Toronto -- Re We Cannot Ignore The AIDS Plight Of The Disabled (Life, Aug. 7): Our recent global study on the links between poverty and disability highlighted the vulnerability of people with intellectual and other disabilities to HIV and AIDS, particularly in Africa. Children with disabilities make up at least a third of the world's children out of school; if prevention education occurs in the classroom, they are left out.
