Haute hosers do Everest
'Climb every mountain," the song says. Some do, some don't. Most of us say "no thanks."Those who embrace mountain climbing are an odd breed - cocky, contemptuous of the people who hike, boat, or just mosey along enjoying the scenery. There's more than a few of them out west, and they are very Canadian about it - those guys, and they are almost always guys, who are either stoned on weed, stoned on the high of some exceptional climb or just high on their macho aggression. They're haute-hosers.
