Universal's 'bold' pricing move not seen ending downloads

Universal Music Group's move to cut the price of CDs is ''bold'' and ''dramatic,'' but not enough to slow the shift to downloading songs electronically, according to the head of a new Canadian on-line music service.
Alistair Mitchell, founder of Moontaxi Media Inc., said yesterday that his firm's business plan, which is to sell individual music tracks for about 99 cents each, will not change as a result of Universal's decision.
