For those keeping score, last week saw the departure of yet another reality show, Average Joe 2: Hawaii, which now joins The Bachelorette on temporary hiatus. Fittingly, new reality fare is popping up all the time. Fox's spring lineup introduces Forever Eden, which started last week. Coming at viewers soon: Playing It Straight (March 12) and The Swan (March 29).

What a concept: eleven shallow singles inhabit a tropical resort to. Contestants earn gold coins as they go along. There's some prize at stake but nobody seems to know what it is; the rules keep changing. On the two-part season premiere last week, the plethora of shocking twists finally resulted in the banishment of busty bombshell Mary and heavyweight Craig. As Eden purged its first victims, two eager newcomers took their places. Up next: It's ladies night as they nominate the most desirable gent and another player is sent packing.
Average Joe 2: Hawaii (NBC, Global, Monday at 9 p.m.)
An astounding finish to this sorry program. After meeting grim-faced Larissa at the final elimination ceremony, Brian finally realized his geeky sincerity didn't measure up to Gil's bulging muscles. Leaving Brian brokenhearted, Larissa was swept away to Mexico in a private jet with her new beau. As the happy couple walked hand-in-hand along the beach, Larissa dropped the bomb and revealed her shocking secret: Her previous boyfriend was blow-dried superhunk Fabio! Oh, dear! Incredibly, Gil stormed about and raged in the surf. He couldn't hack the news and dumped Larissa; ironically, all those on the show ended up back where they bega: alone and confused.
Survivor: All Stars (CBS, Global, Thursday at 8 p.m.)
The Chapera tribe continues to undergo tough times. A humiliated Sue quit the game after an uncomfortable encounter with naked opponent Richard Hatch at last week's immunity challenge; her emotional meltdown left host Jeff Probst squirming and her Chapera tribe mates disappointed. Anticipating a tribe merger, Boston Rob and Amber formed an alliance with new Chapera mates Rupert and Jenna. Over at Camp Mogo Mogo, Jerri formed an alliance of her own with tattoo-man Lex. Up next: Lex makes a strategic move to screw over his Mogo Mogo castmates and another twist leaves all castaways looking flabbergasted.
The Apprentice (NBC, Global, Thursday at 9 p.m.)
It finally happened: Omarosa was fired. Last week, the teams evened off: Amy was sent back to Versacorp, making it an even four players per team. This week's challenge: select a local artist and peddle as much artwork as humanly possible in a few days. Project Manager Nick earned The Donald's respect leading team Versacorp to victory. Net result: Versacorp made over $13k; Protégé $869. Protégé Project Manager Kwame took Heidi and Omarosa to the boardroom and within moments, Omarosa's went from the suite to the street. Her bitchy ways and team disloyalty were not welcome in Trump's empire.
