Auction house won't seek charges against Robinson

The auction house at the centre of the Svend Robinson theft controversy said Friday it has accepted his apology and won't pursue criminal charges. Federal Auction Services Inc., of Brampton, Ont., said in a release that video surveillance tapes identified the long-time NDP Member of Parliament as the thief of a missing ring last weekend. The auction house passed on all evidence related to the incident to the Richmond, B.C.
