OSHL denies suspending play

The Original Stars Hockey League has postponed some of its pre-season games but is going ahead with a regular season slated to start Oct. 7.
However, the six-team, four-on-four series formed to give locked out NHL players games to play while they waited out the labour impasse disassociated itself from a news release Wednesday saying it had suspended pre-season play.
But league president Randy Gumbley did admit some games have indeed been postponed.
