QUESTION: My Windows 98 computer freezes when I insert a music CD. It works OK other times. Any idea what it could be?

ANSWER: It sounds like the program that is set up to play the CDs might be corrupted. If you can, try uninstalling it and then reboot and reinstall. If you where just using the Windows CD player, then the same thing can be done through "Add / Remove Programs" on the Windows Options tab.
If that does not help, then you should have the system looked at for viruses and system errors.
