FedEx profit triples

FedEx Corp. says second-quarter earnings more than tripled year-over-year, due to strong results in the company's express, ground and freight businesses.
Net income rose to $354-million (U.S.) or $1.15 per share from $91-million or 30 cents per share a year ago, the delivery company said Thursday.
