Investors pull plug on Frank magazine

Frank, the low-budget biweekly that exposed at least five of the past 12 major Canadian scandals, is defunct at least in its current form after failing to build a paying readership for its unevenly accurate scoops and satire.
"Unfortunately, it's done," part-owner Fabrice Taylor said last night. "The investors collectively decided that we didn't want to continue financing it. We felt the rewards, you know, didn't justify the risks.
